🏖 COPACABANA: Walking Boardwalk of the Best Beach in Rio de Janeiro

Copacabana became famous for the walk that every carioca takes on the boardwalk. Despite not being the best beach in Rio de Janeiro, Copacabana is part of the imagination of Rio society, as it was the stage for several cultural and artistic transformations in the 20th century.
It is a tourist spot in the city of Rio de Janeiro that attracts a real crowd of tourists to the hotels, which are crowded during the end of the year and Carnival.
The traditional fireworks display on Copacabana Beach is a spectacle in this charming neighborhood of Rio de Janeiro.
During the weekends, Avenida Atlântica (the lane that borders the beach) is closed for the leisure of local residents. It is on the weekend that the cariocas go to play ball, rollerblading, skateboarding, surfing and other famous sports in the city.

Caraca! O dia tava lindo hein. É muito bom dar uma volta nesse calçadão no fim de semana.
Estou vendo que a Avenida Atlântica estava aberta por ser sábado, mas, no domingo, fica ainda melhor quando ela fecha... Todo mundo vai praticar esportes e caminhar pela pista.

O único problema do calçadão durante o verão é o calor absurdo que faz, mas realmente é delicioso poder dar uma andada pela praia pra poder relaxar um pouco.
O dia estava realmente lindo nesse dia! Incrível!
