I’m not rich, but I could buy one. I’d try a Vision Pro if it were cheaper, a $1000 - $2000. At this point, I have a $4000 Mac, $1500 iPad, $1400 iPhone, and some AirPods Pro. I have given Apple enough of my hard earned money for now.

VR is the future. People just don't realize it yet.

I’ve had mine six months, and love it! It’s such a new device that you really can’t form an opinion about it until you’ve tried it for at least a month.

I had mine for about two weeks and had to return it due to experiencing motion sickness. I really wanted to love it, but unfortunately it didn’t work out for me. I do think it was the most advanced piece of tech I’ve ever had and it felt very magical.

I can only agree with this review - it’s a great product for early adopters. I’ve only had mine for a month, but use it for hours every day, both for productivity and leisure - and since I’m in Sweden with a Swedish AppleID I can’t install any 3rd party apps. I still love it.

I love Apple products but this is just not a piece of tech I am interested in.

When I see the Vision Pro, I think about that scene in Iron Man 2 when Howard Stark told Tony that he was limited on what he could do because the tech has yet to be invented. I think Apple got to a place where they did all they could do. I believe they knew it was a person or company out there who could do what they couldn’t for this device. They also needed to keep their name buzzing.

This might sound stupid, but I use the Vision Pro every day to read the digital versions of the local newspapers in Los Angeles. The stories are in one piece, and the photos look great.

Basically you're paying $3, 500 for the privilege of being a beta tester for Apple.

Other YouTubers that are hardcore Apple fans like you say they use it as little as once a week. Until more software and content arrives it’s a top tier VR headset for watching video and not much more.

Have had mine since they released and I still absolutely love it! I use it every day and ended up getting rid of my iPad bc it was just collecting dust after a couple of months. I agree with about everything in your excellent video, including not really recommending it at this price for most people. It is CRAZY expensive but it is an awesome peek at the future. The Vision 2.0 improvements are absolutely awesome! The gesture for home and control center are crucial now bc i almost never use the crown anymore and the experience is all the better for it. The 3D photos are insanely cool and fun to go thru old photos of my son and family and pop them out in 3D! The other subtle improvements are just making this better and better. But as you say, lack of apps, the devs who wont release a compatible app and lack of full immersive content is a drag, but at least more immersive videos are on the way as soon as next week. They need some more quality and native apps tho for sure, but the device is still only a few months old. I remember the first iPhone and it took a very long while for quality apps to start coming along. I think we’ll get there in time. When they do release a better, lighter headset in the future, I’ll be all for that too and hopefully it’ll be far more affordable. I would love for everyone to be able to experience this and for it to be much more in an affordable range.

I couldn't justify spending the full price for it. But I did end up buying it second hand on FB marketplace. It's been one of my favorite devices I ever used. Media consumption on it has been the best. And using it for work has been great! And I completely agree with you, once the device becomes more affordable, more people will buy this.

Brilliant device positioned for some incredible immersive content in the coming years. That all of it fits into a small case
is even better.

I do not believe the Apple Vision Pro price is the problem. If there were lots of things to consume, stream, and work with (apps) the price would not be a problem. Remember when netbooks were a thing? Everyone said Apple needed to enter the segment or they would not survive. Guess what they did not enter the segment and they survived. I don't think Apple needs to compromise on Vision Pro. They need to get content and more apps available and they will start selling more. I'm still going to buy one after the release of Vision Pro OS 2.0.

I would have considered buying it if it was $1, 000. But $3, 500 is just more than I'm willing to spend on VR/AR. Especially is there's not as many games, that's one of the best things about VR.

Very one says this is an expensive device but compared to PCVR headsets with the same displays it’s great value. The upcoming Pimax Crystal Super is approx £2500(with taxes) and then you still need a pc powerful enough to power it so add another £3000+. Other Pc headsets with similar displays are going to be closer to 10k. Yes compared to a Quest 3 it costs more but the capability’s are vastly different. Tech journalists need to change the story about price and compare it to comparable devices.

I probably have over £3000 of monitors on the desk and the Vision Pro is incredibly close to removing the need for them(then it’s break even cost wise) but on the road and working remote it’s incredible and worth very penny.

When these devices cost closer to £1000 I think they will get more mass market uptake and if they can get the tech into something closer to a glasses that would be a game changer.

Sdk wise it has the best one on the market for writing “business” and productivity apps. Microsoft used to have a great VR SDK but they are stopping support for it.
