A true guitar leg-end of our time is here to shoot the sizzle at Schwangri-La!

Welcome to the show! It’s not every day we get to welcome a guest of such Genuine Guitar Royalty stature as Mr Paul Reed Smith!
But here he is, live and in person at That Pedal Show to talk about new pedals, old chestnuts and just about everything in between. For those of you yet to hear, PRS has recently released a batch of guitar pedals. That’s interesting for a couple of reasons: first, that Paul is a stalwart guitar-into-amp devotee; and second because they’re genuinely interesting, credible and high quality takes on some classic effects. Just-another-range-of-pile-em-high-sell-em-cheap-me-too pedals they most certainly are not.
There’s also a super fun new 20-watt tube amp too.
Without further ado, enjoy the show!

An interview with Paul is often like trying to keep THAT uncle in check at Christmas.

Dan looks so happy with Paul praise on the Gig Rig equipment. Much deserved!

As a non PRS guitar guy. The enthusiasm of the man has drawn me in. The compliments to Dan and Mick are statements of fact, earned and deserved.

Paul is like this perpetual inquisitive 10 year old boy that never grew up. Contagious enthusiasm, and glows brightest when he gets to talk about his interests. Bigger than life personality. A big dreamer that thankfully has surrounded himself with knowledgeable craftspeople. And we all benefit. What a cool conversation. And Dan and Mick you impressed him with your knowledge and use of gear. Kudos gents! Dan, good luck on your merchandising and marketing of the G3 now!

My favorite part of the video is when Paul geeked out over Dan’s G3 switcher. Wonderful to see such a great person like Dan get the recognition he deserves and how awesome it was as well to see Mick hyping up his friend. Love the videos guys :)

Absolutely love that Dan got some very vocal praise for his G3. It's a wonderful product, incredibly well engineered. Obviously loads of pros use GigRig products but it still feels like their stuff flies a bit under the radar.

I love how blown away PRS was by Dan's invention. Great episode.

Watching Dan and Mick getting frustrated because THEY couldn't keep HIM on track was pure irony and worth every second.

Classic. PRS visits and both Dan and Mick are sitting there with their Fender guitars!!

“It isn’t a one trick horsemeat” deserves so much more praise and appreciation. As a soon to be new dad, I recognize a new bar being set with this joke.

I love Friday nights (Melbourne Australia) how after a hard days work, putting the kid to bed and having a glass of wine, I can curl up into bed with the headphones and rely on new episodes of TPS. Love you guys.

I really really loved when Dan pointed at the PRS shape and said "you did that" And Paul's immediate instinct was to say "We did that". The man is brilliant. Love his enthusiasm

Truly every second in this hour and a half was the most moving. Great knowledge, great humanity and the deepest feeling of kindness.

it's strange how you tube works, I'm watching since you begining, how you grew up, it's like I know you, like friends in a way. So, this episode with probably the last legend in guitar making, it make me feel happy and proud. You deserve that guys.

I’m pretty much Fender Gibson freak and Owen many of them . What I love about Paul his passion for beauty and quality…this what make me to adding PRS Santana retro to my collection. In the last 3 years PRS became a ‘’must’’ to have in my studio. Thank you Paul we are bless to have you in the guitar community ❤

As the owner of several PRS guitars and an east coast US guy, i enjoy the natural energy Paul brings to the table, but you guys, YOU are always a breath of fresh air, and have helped me so much in such a short time, can't thank you enough.

This is the best interview I’ve ever seen with Paul - it’s evident he has massive respect for both of you, and this was an amazingly interaction to capture in a time capsule for eternity on camera. Top work gents!
