Fun fact time (for those who might not know): The Weird Sisters is a band from the Harry Potter universe. They perform live at Hogwarts during the Yule Ball in The Goblet of Fire. And an extra factual nugget: witches and wizards do use vinyl records and record players/gramophones to listen to music. These show up in several scenes in the movies, most notably in GoF when McGonagall is teaching the students to dance.

when I buy blank dvds, there's always a black disc separator that protects the discs from the plastic holder its in. I've used these black discs in the past to emulate singles, so I'll do it for this project, just make the label and cover smaller. By the way I like Nargles in the Mistletoe by Lauren Fairweather - I learned about Wizard Rock thanks to her.

A tip for mounting sheets together to make pictures or drawings match; this is what I do: I take two pieces of tape (cello tape) and stick them in the edge of the sheet that is going to be on the bottom. Then I take the overlapping sheet, and place it on the needed spot. When I am sure that the matching is correct, I simply pass my finger over the sheet, where it has the pieces of tape behind. The sheets are both joined, and then you can glue them easily with a glue stick or double side tape, without them moving. Great project, I absolutely love the concept. And the labels on the record are terrific, like they were old!

I would love to do this with a 7" single vinyl pressed with the three songs from the soundtrack. That would be pretty cool.

I know it's not legal, so I won't be doing that. But it would be cool.
