Wishful thinking on the part of the artist to make Alexander a ginger

Here is a question. Alexander spent 3 years in military campaigns conquering territories. What did he leave behind? What value to ordinary humans was left behind in this conquest. He died young after nothing but battles and slaughter. Is that what we consider as legendary? Is that something to be emulated? I hope we view history in much broader terms than military conquest and destruction.

Aussies. You could tunnel down the most remote cave in Tora Bora, Afghanistan,
and there'd still be a late middle age Aussie male, eager to tell you about his 38 year adventure travelling the world.
The type who 'hates the Pommies!' but spent 9 years earning minimum wage as bar staff in Shepherds Bush
whilst sharing a two room flat with an ever changing cast of travellers. If your 42, sharing a room in London with 2 Aussies & 1 Kiwi you hardly know. You went from adventure to tragedy.

A world of antiquity, the likes of which only the finest of dreams may whisk us away to—and even then, a poor imitation.

Could just be a fantasy story too. Jason and the Argonaughts.

once again, we have Russia to thank for global disaster. What a horrible country with an abysmal government.
