In his first question to Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, the Labour leader chose to tackle him on immigration.

Sir Keir Starmer pointed to comments from Home Secretary Suella Braverman that the asylum system is "broken".

"Who broke it?" he asked.

Do they train prime ministers not to answer 'the question' as asked?

I love how these people argue all day and pretend they care while thousands are suffering. While they go to home to their families to their mansions, they people they’re supposed to serve keep struggling.

Bloody Corbyn. Making the Tories sell all our assets and kill off 200, 000 citizens during Covid. Bet it was him sending out the invites to No10 parties while people couldn't visit each other.

Bloody Corbyn.

If the tories think that, in 2 years, they can convince the public that they are worth voting in again - then they are in for a rude awakening. I truly feel like the last 12 years has absolutely shattered any idea of the Tories being a "sensible economy" party.

They have been in power for twelve years and yet this mess is anyone's fault but theirs?

I think it is time to drastically reduce the influx of asylum seekers. We have enough problems at home as it is.

Seven and a half minutes before getting in a Corbyn attack! I'm surprised it took him that long. Whenever they're loosing an argument, go to Corbyn for a cheap pop....

This kind of accountability must be applied in every country in the world. This is amazing catalyst for leader to do more and effective in addressing the issues a country face.

The system is not so much broken as over loaded because of lawers like Starmer constantly putting obstacles in the way.

am disappointed in PM Rishi; he doesnt answer direct questions; he projects as being in a show off contest with the Labour leader; as opposed to being a PM who is knowledgeable and prepared to communicate honestly with the British public to the end that there will be solutions for the current economic, border, asylum issues

Send All illegal migrants to the u.k on an island in the British isle that is not inhabited. Cteated large dorms for them to stay until each migrant is processed. If it is inhumane, do not come to the u.k stay in France.

As a fair-minded Tory voter, Keir Starmer won today IMHO.
And Rishi bringing up Jeremy Corbyn was completely off-topic and stunk of desperation. Not impressed so far.

Ooof that last barrage of Sir Keir was absolutely devastating. So devastating that Sunak had to report to bringing up Corbyn, again.

They didn’t just end the free movement of people, they ended the free movement of goods for business.

Since 2020, 1000 people a day are crossing the channel. Most of the recent people are from Albania where there is no war or famine.
Refugees and Asylum Seekers should only get the PR after 10 years. That too if they have contributed. shouldn't get bestowed with free housing etc straight after landing.
60% of all new council houses go to Asylum seekers. Then they sell after 3 years.
