create a new project or open previously saved project.
Import video
Drag and drop video on timeline.
Drag the playhead at the beginning of the video
right click on the video on timeline and click on transitiions.
click on dissolve and click on from here and click on apply.
it will add fade in effect to the clip.
Take the playhead at the end and right click on the video click on transitions
click on dissolve and click on to here and then click on apply it will add fade out effect.
