Back in the '60's my dad worked 2 full time jobs- 8 hours framing houses and 8 hours in a spring factory.. He eventually gave up carpentry and became a produce farmer but he still worked at the spring factory until years after I was grown and moved away.. He needed the benefits that the factory job offered.. He worked like a rented mule.. Hard times make for hard men and my dad was made of steel.

You are spot on, I have been saying this for years that people are working 2 to 3 jobs and getting added to people employed their names added multiple times but non having full time employment and what a con job and manipulation on the jobs market.

Could someone explain this to me: I keep hearing reports that ‘…the spending in America is up, therefore the economy is strong…’. If everything is going up in prices, it’s natural that people spend more to get the same basic necessities. What indicates if this ‘up spending’ is good or bad?
