I'm still learning more about this whole process, but I have limited understanding in code in general. bear with me.
such as what does rom hacks mean specifically? do these 'mods' mean that it helps run the games better than originally, or does it mean someone altered them in a customized fashion with extra content

My FBI isnt recognising the .CIA file as Hshop, it is calling it an 'archive' and won't let me install it. It will only let me copy, delete, rename, ect.

You can also use the QR code to download via FBI QR code reader. So you don't even have to use a PC.

2 Questions:

1: Let's say that I wanted to download DLC for Shin Megami Tensei IV and SMT IV Apocalypse, but since the official 3Ds eShop is closed and there's no way for me to get the DLC officially now, I would have to get the DLC from hShop. How can I install the DLC for both games on their respective software?

2: 've noticed that there are rom-hacks and English translations for games that were either censored in the west or not released in the west at all. Are those links Pre-patched rooms, or do I have to patch the rooms with the hacks and translations myself?
