Hiiii friends :) I’ve missed you! I took an impromptu break bc I was dealing with some stuff (still currently on an extended social media break bc I feel detached from reality and am not loving that feeling) but I’m so happy to be back uploading on this random Wednesday lol

One thing that’s really been making me feel empowered is Mel Robbins’ Let Them Theory book & her podcast episodes about shifting your mindset, implementing good habits, and how to look at life differently. And thus, this video was born ✨

Just remember that if you are only getting 5hrs of sleep, you're going to feel less motivated, more imbalanced mentally etc especially if you are someone with mental health issues, sleep is so so important, more than getting up in 5seconds. So when you're having a full day like this on 5hrs be gentle on yourself and know you may feel more grumpy or tired and that is natural. personally I think we should be more flexible with ourselves and intuitive about what we might need everyday, discipline is important but for me it's not pushing no matter what, it's pushing when I know I need to be pushed and resting when I know I need to rest and learning to trust myself with no guilt. you're great Hannah, you do a lot, be gentle mkay?

You know it is crazy that I have been watching you for 4+ years and have related so much to your content through the years. I am at a point in my life where I just turned 25 and I am so inspired to create healthy habits in my life and have a better mental health. You make it seem like I’m growing along side you! ❤️

the timing of this video is insane. i just got out of my therapy appointment where my therapist raved about mel robbins podcast and let them theory book. she told me it could potentially help me a lot, and now this video! it feels like a sign. the timing was impeccable. i love you hannah and i love your vlogs 🩷🩷

Hi Hannah! I have been diagnosed with OCD for the past 12 years, I noticed intrusive thought hit all at once when I am laying in bed in the morning, I’m not sure if anyone with diagnosed OCD experiences this. You are not alone!! I am happy to see you here!💗

hi! former barista here (and first time seeing a video of yours, love it btw).

for espresso, if you want a bolder, more chocolatey and berry flavor, go with the darkest roast. this will be either italian or french roast. i recommend Peet’s French Roast.

If you want a brighter, sweeter, kinda more fruity flavor, go with a light roast. any blond/light roast from starbucks is good. i haven’t had a light roast from Peet’s, but it should be yummy!!

Either way, play around with brands and flavor profiles, and you’ll get it. hopes this helps!!

Thank you for motivating me to do that morning routine! Today I got out of bed without snoozing my alarm, went for a walk in the crisp morning air without my phone or any distractions and then journaled, and let me tell you, it did make me feel so much better and more motivated to do anything today. I love the way you edited this video and in general you're my comfort youtuber to watch, so I hope you will be well rested when you come back from your break and this surprise video definitely impacted me more than you can imagine, so THANK YOU! ❤❤❤

21:00 I’m a barista and yes the beans matter haha. My roomates and I were confused about this too. If you’re not using the beans labeled ‘espresso’ it’s not gonna be as strong so you won’t feel the caffeine boost. Basically it’s a different concentration and grind, but I’m no expert lol. Love the coffee corner portions of your videos, it’s so calming!!
