I have the deeper pro + it's a castable fish finder it works I use it to see depth and temp but u can also map out your ponds and save it.... Pretty cool

Yeah I have them and they do got good products I caught me some nice largemouth bass with that and I also bought a baitcasting reel which is pretty good to

The Screen on the Baitcaster is absolutely awesome for measuring how deep the water is at the point where you want to set your hooks just above the ground of the pond/river/channel. I had some of the things before I even saw your video and can confirm they (the baitcaster and the robotic swimming fish) work pretty well.

Would have been cool to take some measurements to see how accurate the reel is.
Could also tell you how it is measuring distances.
Is it actually measuring the line as it comes through the spool, or is it just counting rotations?
If it is just counting rotations then you would have to spool a specific amount of line onto your reel, AND use a specific diameter line for those measurements to be accurate.
