Actual helicopter pilot here. Just wanted to give you props on the sick stick control.

I did notice immediately, however, your "tail rotor conciousness" was way off. It's something we focus on a lot in training. For obvious reasons.

So, if you read this, I have some training maneuvers you can exercise to increase your tail rotor conciousness, to avoid crashes like that.

First, pirouette.

Fly the helicopter in a straight line, while slowly spinning it 360° this helps your brain calculate the entire body of the helicopter, as one thing. Helps institute the awareness of the tail rotor.

Next, pretend there's a 14' stick coming out of the back of your head lol.

Start flying in your Sim, backwards. Everywhere. Not only would we love to see it. If you learn to fly backwards as well as you do forwards? Well.. you can say goodbye to tail strikes. (We don't do that in training, but believe me we would if it was safe IRL)

BUT. Props from an actual rotor head. Keep the fear in the skies for your enemies 🤙
