John Deere have had a manufacturing plant In Germany for the last 30 year if not more.
So has Case/New Holland.. the only difference between some Ford/new Holland tractors and Case/IH back in 2000 was the colour and some body style along with cab layout and a few levers an buttons.

Much of the corn and soybean fields in the US should be Silvopasture for Cattle and Sheep grazing. No seed cost, no fertilizer, no expensive harvesting equipment, crop insurance, no fungicide, no herbicides, no pesticides, no buildings. Just fencing and plumbing. In many years grazing Cattle and Sheep is more profitable than growing grain.
