Today one more organ donation was done through Donate Life from AAIHMS Superspeciality Hospital Surat.
Heart, Lungs, Kidney, Liver and Corneas have been donated from AAIHMS Superspeciality Hospital, Surat through Donate Life.
Along with this donations till date Donate Life has successfully contributed to donation of 1089 organs and tissue with 454 Kidney, 194 Liver, 8 Pancreas, 45 Heart, 30 Lungs, 4 Hands and 354 Corneas giving new lease of life and vision to 1000 organ failure patients in our country and globe.
We salute the family members of Late Shaishav Girishbhai Patel age 24 for their brave decision to donate the vital organs of their beloved son after doctors declared him brain dead.
Heart transplantation was done at Mahavir Hospital, Surat.
Lungs transplantation was done at K.D. Hospital, Ahmedabad.
Liver transplantation will be done at Zydus Hospital Ahmedabad.
Two Kidneys transplantation will be done at Ahmedabad.
Corneas were donated to Lokdhrasti Chaksu Bank.
We are very much thankful to Doctors and Management of AAIHMS Superspeciality Hospital Surat for their wholehearted support to this noble cause.
Special thanks to Surat City Police for providing Green Corridor.This was 93th Green Corridor.
