When I got out of treatment and got my first job, yes a drug rehab. My parents wanted to buy me tools because I worked in the machine shop and I told them no I stole from you. I don’t want anything from you. Ripped you off when I was a teenager, I don’t want no help at all. I already took enough. Don’t help me. I don’t want help. I did everything on my own because when I was running the streets doing drugs, I stole from my parents. I did some very very unsavory things. I’ll tell you one thing that I regret well there’s a lot of regrets. I wish I would’ve never stole my mothers and Mink coat and sold it for $10 at a pawnshop yeah that’s how low I was the only way to get the mink coat to have me arrested and she wouldn’t do it. That’s the reason why I did everything on my own and I even tried to replace items that I stole later on in life. I bought my mom stuff. I bought my brother stuff. Yeah I was such a piece of crap. I stole my brothers high school ring and sold it for 70 bucks, yeah this is why when I got clean off of drugs I didn’t want any help. I had already taken so much I didn’t deserve help. I had to be my own person first I had to take care of myself 100% 32 years later, still clean still doing the right thing.
