Definitely a cover up. There were just too many complicated pieces that needed to fall into place for that person to pull it off entirely on his own. That glaring gap in security of the rooftop within sight of Trump at the rally just does NOT happen on its' own. I did work once very briefly with an advance detail from that agency years ago when I worked hotel security here in my hometown in Central Texas. At the time, Obama was scheduled to visit here for a fundraiser and the venue that hosted it is built into the same block development as the hotel. It was a week's worth of site survey, coordination and preparation. I won't go into detail but I can say that they were VERY THOROUGH. Which is why it struck me as odd and out of character for that same agency to have left such a gap in their coverage of Trump last Saturday. It could have been a combination of incompetence, lack of resources (which is probably the tack that the "investigation" will take) and strain on Trump's detail, but there's no way that the person who attempted this heinous act was that lucky in nearly pulling this off all on their own. Gaps in security like that just don't happen unless it was meant to happen, in my judgment.

I have had 2 opportunities to work at 2 VP events in my life that required the secret service. The back ground checks were so brutal 2/3rd of the employees could not work at these events because of some kind of glitch in thier back ground. SS would have had people on top and cleared the inside and then sealed these buildings in the first perimeter bubble. Something doesn't pass a smell test. Then on top of that it's a fact a person reported to authorities that they saw a person climb up a building roof. You cannot not tell me Secret Service would not only get to that building and clear it and on top that they have Secret Serviceman in high places scanning with high powered binoculars every second. Sorry doesn't pass a smell test.

Good things we the average person has access to google maps, phone cameras for witness, the internet and socials to spread evidence etc it’s harder for the enemy to hide and manipulate us all.

You and Dan Bongino are the ones I'd turn to under the circumstances. (Yes, he's as angry as I've ever seen him. I hope Trump takes him up on his offer to head up SS.) Your professional eyes are invaluable. That said, I'm just a cop-turned-trucker's wife, and what I saw horrified me! Why were the people in the crowd acting as perimeter scouts?! Female agents looking absolutely useless and inept, it was absolutely embarrassing.

The other explanation would be that it’s theater. He’s being made into a mandela type character. It’s kinda ridiculous really. He really hasn’t lost money to the attacks. Yes he paid very high fines. The largest was paid the same morning his truth social ipo went publicly for a ridiculously overvalued stock price making him billions wealthier. Wealth and success is great. Not a problem there. The timing of that sequence of events is comical. The cases are so ridiculous that of course they didn’t have a chance of surviving through the Supreme Court if they got that far.
