This latest point release addresses 5 security issues, fixes bugs and for inactive sidebar users and new Edge users, the sidebar is turned off.

That's interesting about the sidebar. Mine disappeared a few weeks ago, for three or four days, and then came back without any interaction from me. It has now been turned off as described in your video...and it is true, I don't use the sidebar; it just looks odd without it, so I might turn it back on again for purely aesthetic reasons.

This update also fixed a problem where open in new tab commands were grayed out.

I feel like the team behind edge bar should be FIRED... They give me the feeling like they have no idea what they're doing, a bounch of kids just playing around. The Edge bar was very good at its beginning, available right there in front of you with the ability of "auto hide"+ "auto start" & even Copilot included in its list without the need of launching Edge browser itself, i loved it, we loved it, but Microsoft as always has to ruin everything ...
Compare that whith what we have now...
I personally dropped it out of my mind coz they made me sick! I don't want it, I don't care about it anymore!.
