I personally believe that the headaches Maine was having during Season 10 were a result of Sigma trying to gain control over Maine. Sigma wanted Maine to take all the AI, and Maine didn't like that, so Sigma hurt him. And the headaches suddenly stop when Maine finally becomes the Meta, because he's given in to Sigma's influence.

The Freelancer saga and chorus trilogy in my opinion are the best content RT has ever made. The idea for these plots and characters are so unique and it's amazing how they still managed to somewhat stay in Halo's lore but still make it believable.

Of all the "X is a failed Spartan" theories I've seen, Maine is at the top of my list. Listening to the Counselor's assessment of him in Season 13, it really seems like he comes from the same stock as Jorge or the Chief.
He thinks of himself solely in terms of being a soldier, never seems to even consider questioning an order from a superior, and yet sees his duty as a soldier as more than simply following orders. All of which was very much part of the S-II program's training regimine.
It's easy to imagine him being a recruit that suffered severe brain damage from the implantation process, and was deemed unfit for duty as a Spartan before being transferred to Freelancer.

I love that York was picked for his lockpicking skills yet unless I'm wrong each time we see him lock picking in the show he sets the alarm off and can't get it🤣🤣

The best I can come up with to explain CT's artifact hunt is that Charon's little private security force wasn't exactly legal either, so them going public with her evidence would have potentially put them all under a lot of scrutiny.
So the artifact, being a Monitor, would probably contain a significant amount of valuable information that could be used as a bargaining chip. Kinda like Wash's situation later on.
It's also possible the Insurrection Leader had started to realize what kind of person HE was working for too, and wanted to find a way to get himself and his unit out from under Hargrove's thumb. Recall how CT said, "Make a deal with *us, * keep *us* out of prison."
Bit of a reach, sure, but much less so than any explanation I've come up with for the Blood Gulch Chronicles...

Seeing RVB content makes me cry bro, even something like this is enough to get me a little emotional. Everything about Red vs Blue just reminds me of a time when things were better, happier.

I think Maine was easily manipulated because Maine didn’t have his own purpose in life he wanted a goal and sigma had a goal in life and was the AI of ambition that’s why he was given to Carolina she could resist his influence because she had her own goals in life

The motherly admiration of Carolina from Tex never crossed my mind until you mentioned it!

I always loved how Red vs Blue seems like it could fit in a corner in the Halo Universe, at least until Season 15+. I really wished Tex and Carolina could've had one last conversation that didn't end in spatting and having hissy fits. I also theorize that the reason Tex joined Wyoming in capturing Junior was because Project Freelancer was originally created to stop the Great War/Human-Covenant War. Alpha was getting tortured to try to find a way to stop it. Tex figured that using Junior to stop the war would save Alpha. So, ultimately, what felt like a betrayal at the end of Season 5 was actually supposed to be to save him.
Oh boy, as far as CT finding out about the unethical practices goes, she would go pretty nuts if she found out that this was virtually _nothing_ compared to the SPARTAN-II Program led by Doctor Halsey. Ironically, the Spartans are both polar opposite and better than Freelancers in almost every way. The Spartan Program was more unethical and gruesome, yet created more powerful and professional soldiers that would fight together and win against more overwhelming odds.
On the note of the Insurrection, I'm pretty sure there were never any actual Insurrectionists. All of the so-called Insurrectionists were actually either mercenaries, PMCs for Charon, or actual UNSC soldiers. I believe Project Freelancer was actually headed and funded by the likes of ONI from actual Halo canon, because that's exactly something ONI would do.
I find it kinda funny that, of all the Freelancers, Washington is the only one who was confirmed to have fought the Covenant considering how much of a innocent, mediocre klutz he was in his early history with Project Freelancer.
As a final note, Wyoming, Gamma, and Omega's plan to kidnap Junior and use him to manipulate the aliens is almost a 1-for-1 interpretation of what Operation Red Flag was in Halo canon, the main difference being the Spartans were supposed to capture a Prophet and use him as a bargaining chip instead of a manipulation tool.

The Triplets took out so much of the mystique surrounding Freelancer and then we got the final nail in the coffin with most of the surviving Freelancers being killed by Temple in Season 15. It’s one of the reasons I am more than happy to view Season 13 as the end of the series.

Kinda makes me wonder what it would be like if the freelancers ever encountered the Banished ?

I still like the theory that Utah became caboose, due to the almost suffocation and caboose specifically saying he almost died from suffocation during one of the episodes

Carolina is one of the most tragic characters of RVB. A girl who grew up with memories of her parents together, her mothers death and how that death sent her dad spiraling in grief. She was there in his grief as he went father and father into obsession about bringing her back.

She entered the program to make him proud yet he never openly expressed his pride in her even when she pushed herself mentally and physically to become the best candidate all because that grief powered obsession to “get it right”.

That’s the tragedy, he couldn’t see that in his pursuit of bringing his true love back he was ignoring and traumatizing the best part of her left.

The final scene between the two is the icing on the sad cake. A man left with nothing but memories and regrets. He knows in the end of his many failures, he failed Allison, his program was a failure and he failed his daughter. He finally admits that his daughter was his greatest creation… a creation he failed.

This was RvB at its best, it had all the best writing when it came to humor, action and drama.

So sad the series fell from grace as it did and now it is coming to an end.

I really wish we'd gotten a season specifically just following Maine, his story is so tragic and I honestly loved every scene he was in

When I found out about this video, I thought "EruptionFang merged all his freelancer videos into one". Glad to see I was wrong.

This was a very interesting video. On par with *The Complete, Unabridged Timeline of Red vs Blue*.

Also, did you have a cold? You don't sound normal here.

Something in the RVB Chorus trilogy about Agent Maine is that he didn’t want to be a monster, just human. He tried to point it out to the doctors by growling and pointing at his head to get Sigma out but they just thought he was complaining about the headaches. Maine didn’t want to what he did- so Sigma tried to erase Maine and substitute him with the Meta. There did seem to be a little bit of Maine left as he did hesitate to kill Agent Washington- but after that, Maine was gone

That’s 27 Agents accounted for.

18 listed in this video, 3 named Dead by the sims, 6 unnamed Dead by the sims. 27 total.

We still got 23 Agents left to be talked about. NEW SERIES FOLLOWING THEM AND THE REST OF PROJECT FREELANCERS PAST????
