Remember Crowbar covering this in the mid loving this though, the solo is spot on, but what really, really floored me was those vocals! 😮 Was not expecting it!

Jethro Tull is my all time favourite band and Ian Anderson is a complete genius. For Kirk to cover this, for me could have been completely devastating but HOLY FUCK BALLS, this took me for a fucking ride and I don’t wanna get off. What an amazing cover, SO FREAKING GOOD!

Thank you, Kirk. This has been one of my favorite JT tracks since I was about 11 (I'm 36 now). You are one of the few, if not the only one who could pull this off and do it justice. MY MAN!! \m/ \m/ PS: thank you for all the sludge. my heart would be incomplete without it.

I didn't think the original could get any heavier, but Kirk has done this justice while still staying true to the original, but go figure he's an alumnus of the one of the heaviest bands ever to walk this earth: Crowbar.

The most positive thing about this cover is that it will expose this timeless classic to a lot of kids who would never explore Jethro Tull´s work otherwise ...well, besides the fact that I actually enjoy the cover for what it is, a spontaneous ( in lack of a better term ) rendition as opposed to trying too hard to recreate the Britishness of the original .
