General Hospital's Tyler Christopher Dead at 50

Tyler Christopher, most known for his role in 'General Hospital', has died. He was 50. Tyler's co-star, Maurice Benard, confirmed the news on Instagram, revealing he died after a cardiac event in his San Diego apartment.

I loved his character from day one on GH. I had the hugest crush on Tyler.Years ago he was filming a movie near my hometown in Pennsylvania.I was driving with by a funeral home and he was standing outside.I screamed his name twice like I knew him 😅 and waved like any obsessed fan would ❤ Thank You Tyler Christopher 🙏 You gave us joy in this Life.

He was my favorite Nicolas on GH. Obviously his life was much like Matthew Perry with the alcohol and drugs. My heart goes out to his family and friends and co-workers. I got to meet him once at a Super Soap Weekend. He was as you would expect - laid back, kind and took great pictures! This is so sad. I feel for his kids and all his loved ones. What a tragic loss!
