Показать описание
Hello and welcome to Pelota Football Academy. Are you a midfielder looking to add an ultimate weapon to your skillset? Look no further than the Frenkie de Jong turn! In this step-by-step tutorial, we break down every detail of this game-changing move so that you can master it like Frenkie himself.
The Frenkie turn is a great skill to use when a defender is pressuring you from behind, and with our tutorial, you'll learn how to execute it flawlessly. We start with level 1, the basic technique. Begin with a short dribble and gently touch the ball with the outside of your foot to keep it close and protect it. Then, make an aggressive feint step alongside the ball, followed by another feint step forward with your other foot. When you land the second step, quickly change direction with an outside touch from your right foot, keeping your body bent forward for maximum stability.
In level 2, we cover timing. With the Frenkie turn, you're in control of the timing, taking the lead and waiting for the defender to respond at the right moment. Scan your shoulder to detect space behind you and time the feint steps accordingly. If the defender steps in with their left foot, change direction with an outside touch from your right foot. If not, continue in the same direction.
Level 3 focuses on scanning, a crucial skill in football. Lure your opponent away from the space by dribbling in the opposite direction and use the Frenkie turn to evade defenders with ease.
To train, practice the move repeatedly, starting with an outside touch dribble, feint steps, and an outside touch in the opposite direction. Make yourself small for balance and accelerate into space. Train the skill with full resistance in real 1v1s.
Enjoy the video and have fun practicing the Frenkie de Jong turn!
