Such thrilling game play when going up against this boss in the abyss, it's definitely not anxiety inducing because it takes it's time to attack and doesn't kill need easily and has so much I frames because it's underground longer than it takes to wish

You basically need to know his attack patterns and adjust your rotations. What made the ruin serpent a lot easier is that his dps window is long enough for full team rotations, wenut on the other hand only has like a 10-ish seconds dps window (laser and sideways) except his vulnerability phase where u can do full rotation. Took me barely 7:03 timer left on first try but now i can comfortably clear with 30-40 secs left (i did ayaya freeze, hyperbloom/quickbloom, quick swap tign+yae, national any variant etc.)

The hardest boss ive ever seen in abyss, I tried so many comps but only managed to get full stars with ayaka nuke team

They don't know how to design hard bosses so they just keep making serpents that have millions of HP and spend 90% of the fight stalling the clock. Artificial difficulty.

To be fair characters that specialize in sustained damage are bad against this boss because they can't deal their full damage when it's underground. And well Ayato and Xiangling's bursts are examples of these.

I brought Tighnari for this boss because his attack+burst cycle is frontloaded and so there is no wasted dps when it's underground. I believe Ayaka and Keqing are also a decent units here because of how frontloaded their damage is.
