2:11 Yes there is. That’s a “Nightmare Machine”. It creates the one thing your enemies fear. However, since you are NOT afraid, the machine malfunctions and creates the one thing Wart fears- vegetables. At least that’s what I’ve heard

I understand putting the Staircase as the worst boss for Dark Moon, but you have to remember the horrendous staircase you had to climb prior to that. For first-time playthroughs, you will hate stairs with every fiber of your body when you reach the boss.

2:09 There is.

Apparently, that machine is rebelling against Wart by providing Mario and co with his weakness, as Wart is allergic to veggies.

In defense of Beef Cloud, (I like all of the Hooraws tbh) his gimmick is that you're supposed to not take to long to attack, since he heals gradually no matter what you're doing. However, if you attack him and he says "Can't sleep.." then you can attack him without any worry of him healing. He has the most health out of all the Hooraws for obvious reasons, and why it was so easy is probably because you were overlevelled. My first experience with him was when his gimmick worked, and I had to figure out when to use Luiginary attacks. I feel like Smoldergeist deserves the spot.

Fun fact: Before the Torkdrift fight, you can get on top of him and throw cappy at the laser stick to get a heart.

Granted. Wart does have a nice boss theme. So he's got that going for him

17:19 Yeah, I won't disagree with the Fire Vellumental being the worst Origami King boss, but if you pick up the orange envelope with a ? on it, it will tell you what to do.

18:42 What makes this one even worse is if you're only playing with two people, King Bob-omb will literally THROW AWAY one of the bob-ombs, and most likely it's the one YOU chose. (I've had a bad history playing that one) And to make matters worse, when he picks one up during his "mad" phase, he throws the one he picked up AT a player that didn't get to throw one, meaning they lose the amount of points that bob-omb was worth! So if he picked up a big one and threw it at you, you'd lose THREE points instead of one!!

24:27 What about the Uncle Guy (forgot his name) or the Clockwork Soldiers?

24:54 The Shrewd Possesser is way worse. The fact that you are timed to hit all of the ice chunks is terrifying, and the fact that they regenerate is much worse. Meanwhile, the Staircase is just cleverly designed attacks and an admittedly cool concept.

This might have already been commented, but for the Floating Whirlindas, you have to stand on one of the spinning platform thingies and face away from them while it spins. That keeps them revealed so you can see them clearly. You can grab them when the male ghost bows.

You don't like battles in hallways?

The Clem battle in LM3 is actually a lot more tolerable if you have Gooigi stay on dry land and use him to capture Clem so Luigi never has to leave the pool.
Cool List BTW. I don’t usually think about bad bosses in Mario games so this was interesting.

I agree with your MP9 stance. I think the boss battle aspect of the game was a really great idea that I remember having a bunch of fun with as a kid

I don’t really consider Kammy Koopa a boss in PM but if I did I can can say at least it’s VERY satisfying to finally taker her down a few pegs. My least favorite PM fight is Lantern Ghost. Having to constantly keep the room bright and make sure he doesn’t paralyze your party memeber is just UGHHHH!!!!

The worst boss in sticker star was the one where all your stickers get turned into Sandals.

Way back in the day when I played Mario RPG over and over religously, I decided Mega Smilax was the worst because I had no concept of strategy and he kept spanking me. Now much later I'd have to say it's between Mack with his Shysters, because he kept leaping off the screen (can't target him) and his Shysters (kept respawning and their flame attack has garbage timing)
And Punchinello. He summons different sized bob-bombs at you. That's it. That's all he does. It would be impressive if any of them were actually able to take you out, but no.

I thought the Stair Monster/Harsh Possessor was fun...but SCREW The Ice Monster/[insert synonym for angry] Possessor! That boss was always a pain in the spectral rear end!

The reason why Mega Smilax in Mario RPG sucks so much (or at least why I used to hate it) is because it has the move "petal blast, " which can transform your entire team into mushrooms. As if that wasn't bad enough, the Smilax bud hands also have the move "pollen nap, " which, as its name would imply, can put a party member to sleep. There is an equipable item called a safety badge, that prevents all status conditions, but there is only one of them in the game. Other items that can be equipped to prevent status conditions can only prevent a particular condition, meaning you can choose to protect your other party members from EITHER turning into mushrooms OR being put to sleep, but not both. However, I don't mind this boss fight as much now as I did in my earlier playthroughs now that I've realized that the best course of action is to have Peach wear the safety badge, then keep using her healing abilities to get rid of status conditions on the other party members.

Suprised that his Odyssey pick wasn't the Mollusque-Lanceur Rematch in the Mushroom Kingdom, because that boss is piss easy, easier than torkdrift even.

Spewart here getting easier not once, but twice.
One time the arena is bigger, the other, moon gravity activates and that kind of negates ground hazards.
