AR here and here in DC this week. I’ve watched 6 of your videos.

I feel the Washington monument and Lincoln is breathtaking at night. It was the perfect way to see it. The Capital was better during the day. Also way cooler at night for Lincoln and Washington

I live in DC so have experienced the best of both worlds many times, and completely agree that the Lincoln, WWII, and Washington Monuments are all better at night, not to mention are all much less crowded! The rest are best during the day. I can barely see the Korean and Vietnam memorials at night. The Jefferson and MLK memorials are very pretty during sunset hours, too!

Hoping to visit DC in December 2021 (from England - if the USA lift restrictions!) so will make time to visit monuments during the day and nights, thanks for the advice.

Oh wow…I have conflicting opinions on this one. As someone that has taken groups of students there many times over the years, I feel like the nighttime version of these beautiful monuments is top notch. The dark takes away unnecessary distractions, and allows for focusing on the subject at hand. Plus…they all seem more dramatic. My favorite is the Thomas Jefferson…such a rad experience. I’m not saying you’re wrong by any means…you have more experience…but I would prefer night tours over day tours myself. Thanks for the great video!!!

I visited last month and took a Monuments night tour which was amazing! Then I went back to most of them on my own the next day. I agree- the FDR is much better during the daytime:) Thanks for your awesome videos!

That was a great video. I guess I need a local tour buddy to explore the city.

Saw them in the day. Later in our trip came at dusk for great pictures. Took a cab back to the hotel.

I wanted to see the Korean Memorial at night, so we walked back there after your tour was done, and wouldn't you know, the lights weren't even on that night, .

Next question: Are the monuments better with or without water.
