Saw him open for Chemical Brothers in 99 in Vancouver. DREAM SHOW.

I grew up in small town Kentucky, would visit the nearby city and go to the music store. I was 16 and discovered Endtroducing. I couldn't understand what I was hearing, how it was made, what genres it was made up of. All I knew is I couldn't stop listening to it for a while. Two turntables and a basement full of wax later, DJ Shadow has opened up whole new worlds of music to me and still does to this day.
