"The 8-Bit Big Band" is a 30-65 member Jazz/pops orchestra that formed to celebrate and realize some of the best themes from video game music from all consoles and eras arranged in a large ensemble Jazz/Pop/Rock setting!

Blending together timeless musical themes from Nintendo, Sega, Sony, and more then re-arranging them in genres and styles of all musical inspirations, The 8-Bit Big Band has members from all around the world, but most reside primarily in New York City, and are some of the most highly sought after musicians and performers.

I went to the Outrun arcade machine regularly. And practiced. and practiced.
Always drifting around to this song, for some reason wearing gym gloves? And drumming on the steering wheel to the beat of this song.
I noticed I started to gather a crowd of kids. I had every turn memorized in my head. I got in the groove and the song helped a lot.
Finally, after a fortune of quarters spent I finished... the easiest route.
That was the end of my Outrun career, gotta stop when you're on top.

Amazing. I've never felt any of the re-imaginings of the original chip-tune did anything but take away from the magic, but this added to it enormously. God I with I could hear the same treatment given to Magical Sound Shower or Splash Wave.
