I have to share.. how much this band and the lyrics and vibes mean to me... My son loved this band... I want to thank you so much from my heart.. my son Isaiah took his own life.. I found your band as one of his faves.. his other was Soja... Your message though helped my son live longer.. I can imagine my son grasping at straws to find solace and since he is a music lover and comes from a musically inclined family im not surprised to find he would know to find that in music.... your band did that for him... That song *Feeling alright* Mahalo (thank you for that).. I can imagine him taking his walks with his ear buds in his ear.. hoodie over his head black nike shoes with white check... and your music giving him that ounce of reverie... from my soul.. Whats amazing about the intro is the fact that its hard for the brain to know where beat 1 is without a metronome or drums. The intro riff starts on the "and" of 1 but if you havent heard the live version or if you lose focus, the riff tricks you into thinking its on beat 1. This effect makes the vocals "because youre living an illusion" (pun intended or not??? Lol) seem like they are coming from nowhere. Then the band comes in and its bliss. Curious to whether they intended this or not but the intro is literally a musical illusion hahahaha.
