I used to have a solid mix of male and female friends but when I started college I started having mostly female friends. It's been three years and the gross majority of my friends are female. I've tried to have guy friends but I always seem to run into the "oh we should be more than friends type" who stop talking and hanging out with me when I tell them I only want friendship.

So I went to my group of girl friends and said "guys these biscuits are shaped like ninja stars! This is incredible!" And they were like "huh? Oh cool. ." Then I went to my group of guy friends and
said the same thing and they were like: "OMG THATS AWESOME GIVE ME ONE!" Lol #differences xD .

But I laugh SO SO MUCH when I'm talking to a girl individually xD

about 2 yrs ago, i met a group of guys over Xbox. I joined their "clan" and we all played together non stop. I remember rushing home from school just to get in to play with them. they treated me like one of the guys, not some girl who "doesn’t know what she’s doing because she’s a girl gamer." One of my greatest memories would be all of us on Call Of Duty Black Ops II, and we would be playing Michael Myers, and it was just so much fun. We had a group chat on Kik, we’re we talked if we weren’t on the game. They all lived in the same state, and they were all friends in real life, i was the only one who didn’t live anywhere near them.. but we still made it work for our friend group. There was this one guy in the group who I became really close to. No, not like that. We became like brother and sister, He was the only one in the group that knew stuff the other guys didn’t. Then another guy in the group, I liked. I’m pretty sure it was obvious but eh. I don’t talk to them anymore, they went to Xbox One and I went to PS4, I deleted kik and we just drifted. I miss them. I wish I can just turn back the time to a night where we were playing Michael Myers :( but I can’t. I’ve tried to message them on kik, but the conversation would just stop, and no one would continue it. Of course they all are still friends, but I was the only one who faded. Now I just have girl friends, and ya know? It sucks. None of them like what I like, none of them understand anything I like to do. I love superheroes and video games and shorts and t-shirts, while they like dressing up, and having a boyfriend. And they don’t like action movies or shooting games. It sucks, it feels like I have no one to hang with that understands. I guess one day I’ll find that one close best friend that we can just sit for hours and talk about our day and just understand.

I don't care much for the gender of a friend as long as they're funny and cool they're chill with me. Of course I tend to be less able to make guy friends because I'm so awkward and especially if I think he's cute I just can't talk to him I am hopeless.
