What a pleasant little surprise from this direct. I'm glad RF fans get to experience this game for the first time. The DS version of this has skyrocketed in price. It's a little outdated compared to RF4 but it's still a great playthrough with a cute story.

I have so much fond memories with this game, being my first Rune Factory series, I chose Shara once, I will do it again. Also, I hope they feature the song "Like the Wind" by Joe Rinoie & Yazumi Kana again, I love that song til this day.

The timing is perfect. I never played 1, 2, or 3 and was thinking of buying them. Glad I waited long enough to see this! 3 was the one I wanted most.

This game will be worth it for new rune factory players. The story line is amazing. Interesting that they are working backwards on remakes. But I am thrilled Rune Factory is getting revived and will continue strong!

As someone who has played every Rune Factory game, I am pumped. RF3 revolutionized the series, adding tons of skill levels and depth to the combat system, letting you fight alongside townspeople, and adding a ton of quality of life improvements that make the gameplay so much faster (the ability to just hold multiple items at once looked so goofy at first, but it was so darn convenient).
Not to mention that the characters had so much personality, even if there were barely any people with a normal personality. I think the one flaw is that it's too short, especially compared to the games that came after it. I'm still buying it day 1.

Rune Factory 3 was my very first introduction to the series so i am SO excited to replay it on the switch. Its so aesthetically looking too! The art is so beautiful!

Okay I know all the comments are talking about how good RF3 is, and yes, I am super excited too. But what makes me more happy is that this is basically paving the way for RF2S and RF1S. RF2 is my second favorite right before RF4. I'm praying with all my heart for the success of these games.

I was introduced to the Rune Factory series when my Grandma gave me Rune Factory Frontier for Christmas. I never finished it, but always had it in my mind. Years later during college, I looked up the series as saw that Rune Factory 4 special was coming out. Feeling bad that I never finished Frontier, I got it the day it came out. I instantly fell in love with the world, gameplay and characters. While I've yet to get Rune Factory 5, I plan on doing so soon. And I'm definitely getting Rune Factory 3 Special when it comes out!
