As a Texan, I grew up eating only Best Maid super sour dill pickles, but my family moved up to New England in 2008 and since then, I've come to appreciate the flavor of kosher dill pickles, which my family has not. I saw grillo's pickles in the store many times and had always bypassed them for cheaper kosher dill pickles, but I then splurged one day and got them. I have never tasted a more flavorful and fresh pickle. They have become my go to pickle choice from now on. I recommend the hot version which adds jalapeños and habaneros in the brine which give you an extra hot burst to eat after all the pickles are gone

Clausen is my favorite pickle. Grillo's are really good as well. The New Kid on the Bock ( pun intended) is the Wahlburgers, and they are pretty good as well. Interesting thing about Clausens -- they use only recycled glass for their bottles, so for awhile, they were not in stock, pretty much anywhere.

Claussen are damn good but Grillos are on a different level.

50 years ago my dad made pickles. He'd use fresh dill. Grillo's is the closet to homemade I've ever tried

Claussen has been my choice of pickles since I was a kid. I tried grillo's for the first time today. Definitely more crunch and vinegar flavor, but claussen is slightly saltier (which I like). Both tasty pickles.

my opinion, grillos has more sweetness and flavor, of course claussen is still hella good, but grillos is so good i actually sneak some pickle chips from the container

I've been eating Grillo's this week, I really like the dill flavor you get.

Claussen is really good, but Grillo's are much better, especially in flavor.
Grillo's uses much higher quality ingredients and is completely all natural.
They are worth the few extra dollars !

I like Grillos, but I don’t think I’ve ever bought a package from them that hasn’t leaked all over the place and made a huge mess in my refrigerator, even when fully and properly sealed.

Nothing beats Claussen. No craft pickles, no deli pickles. They are 🐐. Runner up is Heinz sour dills. Sadly Heinz stopped making them.

i found Grillos when they first started selling and loved them, i love how fresh they are and make you feel when eating them also they changed the design of the container. it was never a issue for me to open but the new container has twist top thats green and actually kinda makes the product look better while being easier for others to open.

To be fair, I haven't tried "Grillo's" yet and if I can find them I will. But the point of picking is for preserving so when someone says "fresh" and "pickle" at the same time, it doesn't make any sense to me. I have been eating Claussen for my entire life. They are excellent, crisp, and have that good garlic flavor. Whenever I try another brand (i.e. Mt. Olive, Vlasic) it's always a disappointment.
