In this video I will show you how to easily mod your Japanese Famicom with out having to drill any holes into its shell. I give comparisons of how an RF and AV signal differ on a newer television and take you step by step on how to perform the mod from start to finish. With this method you get to keep the original RF functionality and 100 percent of the original Famicom aesthetics. This is a good option for those who like to keep retro consoles as original looking as possible. This is an option to drilling into the shell of the console and adding AV out puts. In this mod we will install a trrs female port and run the wires through the same port as the player 2 controller bypassing the need to drill or cut into the classic Famicom design.
