My husband became oppressed with a suicidal spirit shortly after he was born again. It scared me so much because I sensed it right away. He was not the same person! I was young in the Lord too, so I asked a mature believer about it. We prayed, & by the time I got home it had lifted off him. This went on for 5 years! It was horrible. I did let my husband know that he had to take authority over it. He would go for a walk & listen to worship music or preaching. It was a process, but thank the Lord, he is free!!!

Yes, demons are in the church. I have been in church since I was a child and I was oppressed. There was a generational curse over my family of addiction and abuse. I would have extreme anger and intrusive thoughts of suicide. I actually prayed for deliverance over myself. It was a battle. I was physically sick. I literally felt it when it left me. When I was delivered I was also healed of lupus at the same time. I was completely healed.

Absolutely, I pray pastors and leaders would wake up and take authority. Deliverance ministry is needed in the church.

I am new to this spiritual walk (accepted Jesus Christ on 5/24/24). Since then, I have seen things that previously I would have never believed or even noticed. Recently, I witnessed a demon manifest in my brother. It was so upsetting that I am still struggling with it. Thank you for sharing this from pastor Mark, it helped shed some light on the situation. Powerful Kap! A true Christian can be "oppressed" but not "possessed". Like you said, it's a spiritual war and can be overcome! Ephesians 6:10 The whole armor of God....but you don't have to go through the figurative process of putting on the armor; when you walk in righteousness it's automatically on you. Remember that...that's where your power in Christ comes from! God bless you all!

Yes! I’m a Holy Spirit filled worship leader and the Lord recently delivered me from several demons. I’ve heard so many pastors starting to talk about demonization and that we will see more manifestations at this time than we ever have… in church! AND songs written about deliverance

God has been revealing this exact thing to me recently. I realized that Christians can still have demons within them. I have felt oppressed my entire life by depression, fear, anxiety, anger, physical pain, confusion, severe memory loss, etc. from my own sins by also generational curses. I felt the Lord speak to me the other day that I need to pray deliverance over me and my family. A few months ago I felt depression start to come upon me like a dark cloud and I felt the weight of it. In the past I would let it over take me so I could get over it quicker but it would cause me to be bed ridden and completely isolated for a few days to weeks at a time. Now I am married and have two kids so I can’t let it overtake me. It’s insanely exhausting to fight it off so this one day I was taking a shower and I just prayed for deliverance in Jesus’s name and instantly the weight of depression left me and I knew in that moment that it was an oppression from evil spirits.

Most who have demons don't want them. It is an error to say it is the person's true self. If you read the Bible accounts, anyone who had a demon was so relieved it was gone.

Mark is a reformer and I come from a reformed church and we talk about this all the time. Reformers definitely believe in spiritual warfare!
