Should you do the PHP Certification from W3Schools? I will yes do it for free because its the best Free PHP Certification. But don't pay for the W3Schools PHP Certification because it cost $95 usd.

If you watch the video here on YouTube of the JS questions throughout the test, it's clear that they have set the bar very low. They are extremely basic questions. If I were hiring someone and saw that they had the certificate, I would know that it doesn't prove much. I think if the questions were more difficult, targeting things like how find() is only for arrays and not strings, objects, JSON, and DOM things, it would seem like proof of the deeper mastery one can have with JavaScript, but most of the questions are elementary. Also, the $95 would be better spent on a personal website for one year! Then you could write all your code on that website and that would be 100x more impressive. The certification almost feels like a certification that tells people "I'm stupid. I think this certification is worth something and blew $95 on it. Do not hire me because I am an idiot."
