Very well done. I'm currently doing my PPL on a 152 and it looks EXACTLY like the real thing! Now, if MSFS just offered believable aerodynamics. As always, it looks as if the plane was driving along on some invisible rails in the sky instead of moving through "living air"... that is what gives the whole thing a very unreal touch in the end. Not Carenado's fault, though!

I flew a Cessna 152 just this morning out of bankstown airport in Sydney Australia. It was my first lesson. I'm 14.

Looks superb in HD, well worth the bandwidth wait.

Tell me, are you using REX for Clouds And water? Or something like the FS water configurator to help it?

@ElCidCampeador8 overshooting the turn to base, almost getting behind the power curve... I feel so in the loop now about to take my Private pilot exam :)

It's entirely your choice to choose what product you will get. Personally, I have never tried the Just Flight C152. I find Carenado products to be amazingly detailed and colorful, but amazingly accurate avionics. I know Carenado products are very real, but I have never tried the Just Flight C152.

Its REX for clouds and water, yes. I don't use FSWC, even though I may try it soon.

I'm sure the airport appreciates you mowing their lawn with your propeller, but a higher approach is definitely recommended if you ever fly for real ;)

im suprised he made the runway... this is a textbook video example of the number one killer in pilots

Just a little advice, its better to come in a little high to land than it is coming in so low. I don't mean coming in really high, just a bit higher than glideslope.

There will be soon; check their website... ;)

I know. That was my sixth time recording and I didn't feel like going around and was afraid of time constraints.

Not right. Maybe you can get it from justflights website, but Justflight has actually made their own C152, as part of the Flying Club pack.

It was also Justflight's C152 that was offered for free with the FSinsider news!

Ever tried X-Plane? There's a demo on their website, let's you fly for 15 minutes before it disables the flight controls. Much better feel to it than FSX. Not as pretty out of the box, though.

One of the problems with simulation is that you can pick up some dangerously bad flying techniques that will end up costing extra time and money to unlearn if one decides to do the real thing down the line. If a bad habit stays with you and you screw up in a real plane, you can't just restart the flight. if you ever consider flying for real, treat the simulator like the real thing and learn the right way so that a stupid habit doesn't end up killing you.
