Make sure your first spin of the day is a gold poke stop do 9 more and come back to that gold stop for the 10th poke stop bonus. Repeat.

I have gotten at most 30 coins from 1 spin. You can get anywhere between 5 to 30 I believe, in 5 coin increments.

Still an absolutely terrible drop rate. It sounds like with just one lure, you'd get around 50 coins. It'll still take at least 40 coin bags plus 8 lures to evolve one on your own.
