Hi Charlie,

thank you for the shout out and in general thank you for all the great work which you are doing, I am way behind reaching any of the contribution level which you have done for the hero wars community, still I strongly feel the need to say couple of things about only this video which you may not like, however i am most of all seeker of the truth and therefore will just dare to be direct about them, eventually if we do not dare to be wrong we will never be right either, but to come to my point, there are 2 things i believe majority of people would be mislead about if they follow the logic...

a) since the crystals will be random as you emphasized, ask yourself how big is the chance that an account does NOT get all 7 types (14 if we count blue and purple separately) of the role base insignia crystals for the period of 3-4 months... what about 1 year... without reasonable doubt we can say 0%, you will have some of all 7 types... now... ask yourself what is the point to keep the crystals UNUSED?!?... if we have 7 different types which we anyway have, then the minimum of heroes which we need to seek to figure out to foresee which ones they should be... again for the minimum team length will be 7, why... because if you base your considerations initially only on 5 then your estimations will be incomplete and therefore wrong, you may wanna wait as long as possible and invest in those 7 1 by 1, however will the game let you to not spend the ressource... rather nooo, therefore you need to have idea right away from the start for the initial 7 exactly because the synergy between them is most important... and without a plan you will be confused... plan might be adjusted but you need to be aware that your choice to replace a hero can be only out of the other heroes of the same role...
which comes to the next point...

b) that the game WILL force you to spend them... to get rewards from the events and from the quests and from the weekly tasks... and missing them will not be better option...
if we could only wait for 2-3 years before we could spend them yes... we would make better decision first then when we know what insignia we will have in 2023 or 2025... but we cannot...
we will have to improvise in motion...

Finally... you are right about 1 thing - we will have resources for more than 7 heroes, but the calculations will no longer be in terms of 5, 10 and 15 or 20 heroes but once you have tank 1 ready you first then go to tank 2 etc for each role, letting us with the choice of initial top 7, then top 14 and finally top 21... and here if at that time point you indeed have random isignia for more mages or warriors or anything then you could say lets do them and push the great tree for them... right here we could have that option indeed... the rest is for very few people relevant since ascending 21 heroes will take years of play... now... spreading out to double dip on the great tree for the roles might look tempting... but keeping it to the minimum will be best strategy...

in fact until the skills of majority of heroes are released if we can keep it down to only 3 heroes which everyone ascends unless otherwise forced by the game...
this was my recommendation to the people and i strongly believe it is the best strategy
if you have any real counter arguments please bring them on since i just first and foremost try to build best strategy for me and my guild... and all other players

so far... i only see actually conclusions on your side rather supporting the obvious one... 7 heroes = min spread out possible!

It is just simple math and i cannot see any other options available... the reason why i am so passionate about this topic is just because
it will be irreversible decision and we do not have the time to be in doubts...
game pressure is on...

Charlie, love how real you are, none of us have maxed out teams so its so true not to worry about that. Basically, just rank up you team as per ever other leveling item

As you have been saying, this is a source-management game so... this ascention mechanism is the same, just save and use properly as you gain them

Your spot on with this. On the server where ODH is my primary team, I spent a small fortune (for me) on the Astral Seer. When all was said and done, my Orion only got maybe 4 ascension slots, K'arkh ended up about 1/2 up the level 2 ascension spire. The random nature is 100% going to determine your pace.

I cant believe every youtuber completely ignores the fact that we need 30 ascentions for the event during first week. Its already clear that those seeds are most important resources. Those starting crystals we will surely have excess amounts in the near future. The best way to go with the event (as and older player who will not spend gems) is to just upgrade 30 heroes first ascention node and get all rewards for that task. Those seeds and purple stars for upgrades will also come in handy when closing in the other event task (the tree upgrades)

Those random sh*t should actually work like chests, were you open them up and get whatever it is that you're looking for. Buuuut then again, it IS a ptw game, they need US to NOT be ABLE to get what WE want if we don't spend a lot of cash...

1 hero at a time just does not make sense to me for to clear the tower ya need at least 5 for the arena at least ten for the outland 15 for dungeon 5 good heroes and now 25 lmfaod yeah years gettin into it slowly not much to spend

AI would like to know if Asencion will benefit the general power, abilities etc of your heroes accross the other game modes. If all these upgrading for Ascencion just benefits this game mode... then its all a waste of time.!

Randomness is not that extreme. This is a binomial distribution, with each type having a 1/3 chance of happening. As an example, the probability that you get fewer than 80 strength crystals out of 300 random ones is 0.5%, and less than 70 is 0.006%. You will definitely end up with close to an even number of each type.

So the title ends up being super click-baity. "Level up THESE heroes"... where the answer ended up being "lol, any of them."
