What an insightful, accurate analysis in the world of gaslighting and lies around the Russian-Ukraine war. Even if it sounds pessimistic, it is a great asset when a small nation like Hungary understands reality. We live in dangerous times that remind me of how Miklós Horthy tried to steer the country away from involvement in the war - sadly, he wasn’t successful. I pray this time Mr Orban will be able to keep Hungary out of the war, moreover to persuade other leaders that ultimately peace is in the best interest of all.
It astonishes me how Zelensky is celebrated as a hero in the West and the black and white thinking that one is either pro-Ukraine or pro-Russia. The professor has the wisdom to see that this polarised view is totally misguided.

Professor Mearsheimer has very clear and objective views on world affairs.
It is my personal conviction that the world should not be viewed through the colored glasses of ideologies, because those who do so are deceiving themselves and therefore do not see reality but their delusions.
Therefore, he cannot formulate valid answers and act correctly to the challenges of reality.
I think the Hungarian government looks at reality and pursues a consistent, tough real policy.
This is obviously not to the liking of Western lotus eaters and cynical power elites.
I am a regular viewer of the Political Hobbyist and I also like that they use harsh words and strong expressions in an appropriate way in relation to certain unacceptable phenomena and manifestations...
