Love the water buckets, birdhouse and stomper. Why do you burn all the wood before you make something like the bucket or birdhouse? Burning holes I can understand cause it's faster burning than carving but the other burning wood i don't understand. Thank you for sharing.

So inspiring. It's amazing what people can do when they put their mind to it. Hell, we built the friggin' pyramids. In America we are so used to having big trees which we can make into flat boards that it's really interesting to see how other cultures do it with what they have on hand, palms for the roof, bamboo and those thin trees for everything else. They don't normally use even nails. I've seen them do like we used to in colonial America with drilling and filling with wooden pegs. That's real craftsmanship. I love that they know how to make their own concrete. That must have taken thousands of years to come up with.
