NECX Finals Elite Men 2016

A couple of interviews, the podium presentation and the first 2 laps of my race. Jeremy 1st, Adam Scott 2nd, Todd Bowden 3rd
I had a front row start with Jeremy Durrin, Adam Myerson and my teammate, Todd Bowden. Good start; Jeremy had the jump... I went by him w/plan to get through the technical sections quickly and settle into the front group. Going through the sand, I bobbled on remount as my front wheel hit the soft sand; Adam went by me and looked to close the gap to Jeremy. He lost control and slid out in the pine needles - I hit into him and the guy behind me smashed into me breaking the lends on my rear camera - Adam had the worst of it (broken shifter). I chased quick to get back and sat just behind the front group (Jeremy was away) for the first lap but didn't have enough to stay there. Raced mostly on my own finishing 15th. long race - 15 miles / 1:04:20 (03:02 back from Jeremy). Hey, it's just a bike race; on to the next...
