The Highline Trail Glacier National Park

See the Highline Trail in Glacier national Park.

See why Heidi was so terrified on this trail of epic beauty!

Also: this is really a point to point hike. The loop is just a quoted spot on the sun road. All trails describes this as an out and back.

Please see description ❤❤ This is not a loop but - AllTrails states it is an out and back. The shuttles run in the park. Thank you all for dropping in! This was a lot of fun! It’s also worth mentioning that there is a last shuttle of the day. A lot of people hitch hike back to the lot. A lot of other people hike back to the lot. It’s good to make plans for catching the shuttle.

Ive lived in Montana my whole life. Been to Glacier over 50 times. I have never ceased being stunned by the beauty. This is a great hike. And there are dozens more great hikes.

North America is such a stunning continent. The mountains of Montana have always fascinated me, can't wait to go there next year in summer!

My favorite way to hike this is to take the bus to Logan's Pass early, hike to the Grinnell Glacier overlook, have lunch at the Granite Park Chalet, hike up to the Swift Current Lookout and hike down the valley via Swift Current Pass to Many Glacier Lodge (we stay at Many). What a wonderful way to spend the day. Over the years I have done it a dozen times. Thanks so much for the video!!
Always carry bear spray!!!
Cheers!

Heidi, you are so cool! I wish I would have know we both have a passion for hiking and nature in general when were both in college together. Thank you for sharing and your film and video shots are amazing! I can see you put a lot of hard work into these videos and the quality is superb.

I too have cried on trails many times due to fear of falling and hiking poles have been the best investment. Well worth it! Thanks for sharing your passion for the outdoors! Already enjoying your content so much

Hello heidi new subscriber here. You are lucky to get shuttle back to parking lot. I was there later during season and had to hike back from granite chalet. Beautiful hike, just thought it would have been more pleasant if my foot wasn’t so wet from rain and snow. Love your wild life and landscape photography. Appreciate the beautiful and keep on living.

Great video, Heidi! I lived in and around Glacier for over eight spring, summers, and falls. Words simply cannot do it justice.

Such beautiful scenery. I am of the belief that Glacier National Park is one of the most beautiful places one can find themselves in in the Western Hemisphere. I envy your ability to hike as much as you do. My knees would only allow me to do a short hike to Fish Lake adjacent to Lake McDonald on the west side of the park. It hurt to walk for the next couple days, getting old sucks.

Trekking poles add a ton of stability on trails & conditions like this. Amazing video! 🌟

Thank you for the images. Beautiful. It has been decades since I drive thru Glacier NP on a family car trip. I need to go spend some time there.

Wow. You are awesome to complete this hike. I would never do this hike and I am 60 years old and afraid of heights and bears.

My wife and I hiked this trail. It was after Labor Day (the cables were down) and there was snow on the trail. We got about 1 mile out and decided it was too risky to go further. On the way back, there were fresh bear prints on the trail. We were glad to get back to the car!
