The boy's glacier hike was awesome. Thanks for taking us along!! I'm glad Carrie and Roodle got out on their own hike too. That one mountain view was gorgeous.
You've shamed me for complaining about the summer bugs here in central Illinois. I've had some bad mosquito and chiggers bites but never had to deal with a swarm. Yikes!! Carrie, I like your head net. I've not seen one like that. I've wondered about Roodle and so glad for him that he's not having bad issues with the
skeeters. 👍

hi guys! still watching...but had to stop and say i loved the shot (around 11:30) that pans from right to left showing the glacier and groups of hikers in different areas and showing the foreground, middle, background of the ice, the glacier, the mountains, the water and green. Love it!!! love the music in this shot too...what is it? great

Every week I react with Wow! This was fantastic! I never thought walking on a glacier would be a big deal, but actually seeing the details and formations was amazing. I would definitely do that. Carrie, your short hike had such a beautiful view. Thank you, thank you for sharing this with us. I think if I went, I would need a 5 gallon jug of mosquito repellant and a full body net!

I just discovered your channel and I'm working my way through videos of places I want to visit when I get my camper (looking for the right one). A couple years ago we took our grandson to Alaska and he still says the Matanuska Glacier hike was his favorite part of the trip. It was awesome!

I live just west of the glacier at Sutton, Alaska. Don't forget to go to the muskox ranch and the Williams Raindeer ranch in Palmer.

We were at Matanuska glacier many years ago. There was much more of the glacier then. Bob's son Danny lived in Wasilla. Beautiful area

We were there at the end of June in the Glacier View campgrnd, we did not walked on the glacier but walked on that trail. It is very scary to do that walk on ice. Also in Valdez we took the Stan Stephen cruise on 7/1 to see the glaciers up close. It is another world Guys !

We did an afternoon tour and it was group after group. Every shot we took is filled with people.
