I really hope the Dodgers are smart with him going forward. There’s no reason for him to start pitching until June every year. He should start every season as an outfielder. When he does pitch it should be in a six man rotation. Not just to keep him healthy but to keep everyone healthy. The Dodgers pitchers are dropping like flies having an extra day off in between start should help with that. The goal with Otani shouldn’t be for him to pitch 150 to 200 innings. It should be for him to pitch around 100 innings and be available for the playoffs every year. His arm clearly can’t handle pitching 200 innings every year. Preserve the greatness
