It is awesome to realize the deeper meaning of words disciples and apostles.

In Greek phonetics sounds beautiful.

I already knew that disciples stand for students, but the etymology of the words is even more profound coming from the root mathematics-discipline : subject of the study. It brings a lot more understanding to Us Followers Of The Way our Lord Jesus Christ .

As for the Word Apostles is even more deeper when the power that are in them comes from the Holy Mouth of our Almighty God-Jesus... with Authority.
Therefore to become an apostle of Jesus we become his emissaries here on earth to broadcast his Holy Message to whom so ever wants to receive it .

Thank you Mr Bruce for such carisma and eloquent on your behalf on bringing us in a lively way the Word if God.

God bless you ALL!

4.40 inspires awe at the great compassion of Christ! 6.19 makes me feel claustrophobic! Yet in both cases he healed all who needed healing. Do you see any significance in Luke's descriptions of the two different kinds of "personal touch" going on?
