As a pilot I can explain this. Any airplane can take off without flaps, just takes an unrealistically large space to take off, flaps reduce the distance of runway you need to get airborne. However war thunder isn’t exactly 100% accurate on speeds, weights (which effect the take off run (MTOW calculations))

Flaps only increase the lift, the wing generates lift already, so you can take off with no problem at all

I fly with full fuel in my Lancaster to reduce fire risk, and when it was still quite stock and I landed to rearm and repair I couldn’t take it off again even with flaps. Ended up going into the trees about 1km past the runway, only about 10m off the ground.

I think that just shows up when the takeoff run of the plane is longer than the shortest runway or something... I believe about 750 meters
