Let's Code Along - Spotify Playlist Generator

Welcome to my new series! Let's Code Along is a new video series I am working on that will be project based. Each video will be about working on a project and working through the issues.

This first video is a little longer then the rest will be, but it is all about working with the Spotify API to generate a playlist from a users selections. I already have a React + Firebase code along planned that will be broken up into multiple parts, coming soon.

Hi bro i'ts a really good video I learnt a lot. I just have one tip, instead of doing .map( param => function(param) ) you can just do .map(function) I think in that way the code is more readable

I am following this video, but got caught in a problem on this line of code:
"results = results.map((res) => res[0].artists.items[0].id);"
I am getting undefined TypeError. Any idea what the reason is?

hey Ryan Christiani since $.ajax is asynchronous. shouldn't console.log(searches) be undefined? should n't it execute before $.ajax() completes in map()?
