The doctor will always tell you "no" as he did above,
2 beers a day is to much, they would want you to drink like 2 a week or something
I had my first seizure Jan 1 2020 due to heavy alcohol consumption and trying to stop suddenly
I ended up having 3 all together
Wrecked my truck in 1
1 was at the neurologist and I got seven staples in my head
In dec I'll be 1 year sober
Before that from May 28 2022 to may 28 2023 I stopped for a year and was like " I can handle this" ..I couldn't
I drank for six months and had to quit again(I felt as though I was gonna die...I was on keppra)
I'm basically 2 1/2 years sober with a stupid little 6 months in the middle
And I miss it, I like drinking, but I don't like feeling like literal death is knocking

Why was i given keppra for a 1 time seizure, i dont have epilepsy?Now im stuck on it for 2 years and im not looking forward to the withdrawal process.I think my nuroligist is making money out of me?

Can alcohol withdrawal cause tonic clonic seizures in people with focal epilepsy? I'm suspecting I have focal simple partial seizures and I drank for YEARS and suddenly stopped cold turkey but I never had any grand mal seizures but I did have high anxiety. Still do 6 months later

I had epilepsy until i think 2017-18 i was on treatment till jan 2020. After that My doctor said that iam cured and i should stop taking medicines but don't drink coffee. Can i smoke or drink??

U seem to know alot so let me ask you this, does smoking weed help with epilepsy do a video for the answer I say yes because sadly like I said in other comments seizures started early first was when I was baby light ones ma say don't remember but the ones I do the first was in first grade right after having fallen head first into a wooden stool and piercing my frontal lobe and then got my stitches removed before I can go back to school but mother said don't talk to anyone had grand male sezuier from nervousness and stress still to this day a trigger but started taking my medication and shortly thoughts of suicide stayed in my head with social anxiety that everyone is talking badly about me and still a little social anxiety exist in me I am 31 know but drinking relax me but also awakened them lucky my fall focused my epilepsy to my frontal lobe now have focal epilepsy but seizure becoming advanced focal have passed out behind the wheel before because got hot another trigger and medication only thing that helps but often makes me think of hurting myself but when high feel good and more relaxed weed is a good substitute for alcohol right?
