New Study Ranks California As The Best State To Be A Police Officer

A new study has ranked California as the best state to be a police officer. The WalletHub study, released on Monday, took a look 30 different indicators of “police-friendliness,” from the median income for a law enforcement officer to police deaths per 1,000 officers. Katie Johnston reports.

I'm in law enforcement in California and this is false. The only good out of being an officer is the pay, but that's only because it's so damn expensive.

I mean.. I never been pulled over in cali and treated like a big giant scary black man like in other states. I'm only 135lbs but in other states I get harassed while driving, being a passenger, walking with empty hands, walking with a grocery bag, walking with a backpack, walking with no shirt on asking if I walked like a cowboy grabbing my belt towards women or kids??? they treat me like 250 all muscle scary wild man and tell me in not a resident when I live and work in their towns or states so yeah parts of California don't care about me cus im a little guy that causes no harm so I guess cali has the more lenient cops. I fist bump the cops in my grandparents neighborhood if they've seen me more than once or twice.

Yeah, because the people here are kind, not weak, but kind. As a cop, the biggest threats you got I'd assume is 13, or a fellow cop. Sacramento people DO ARGUE. So, to be a cop here, is to be a master communicator.

I live in San Francisco and met only sweet and nice cops . Working at the small store, we had many customers that were cops . What I have noticed that sf police is very diverse and members are really nice and carrying . I have talked to black people about were they pulled out for no reason and none of them have .. That's why I don't understand why we need police defunding in SF. Reading every day news scares me ! Police getting defunded and criminals released ...
