40 lights! That's a lot to have to choose. I'd be overwhelmed. At least all but the sconces can be decided later. In one of my bathrooms to be renovated, the vanity light above the mirror is changing to sconces to flank the mirror. The vanity is 48" so this change will work. There's painters tape on the wall with possible mirror heights and tape on the existing vanity for mirror widths and what space is remaining for sconces. Final mirror selection is 24" x 40" although I would have preferred 42" or 44". On the 4th try, I finally have the mirror decided. I still have to decide between the last 2 pairs of sconces (tried 4 altogether). Height for wiring the sconces will depend on which ones I pick like you mentioned. First bathroom is scheduled for the 19th! The 2 of you discussing the gas line was funny. I thought "Chris is gaslighting Heather." Other LOL moments but I can't remember what they were.
