1. Listening-
The most important and essential technique to becoming a good counsellor is listening. You must have learned this art of listening so that you can easily mingle with your clients. You must learn listening skills, but not that you keep listening only to your client and you yourself are speaking very little, you should listen to them as well as understand them well and also give feedback to the client so that he too Know that you are listening to them.

For this, you do small nodding in between while talking with them, keep replying to them with your proms in the middle so that they feel that you are listening to them and the client can open up well with you and open you up. Can tell you everything. The advantage of this will be that the client will have complete confidence in you and you will get a very good impression of him.

After listening to them, you should explain to them in your feedback, what do you think about them and what do not. With which they will listen to your words very carefully and will also apply your words to themselves because they will become faith in you.

Therefore, you must hone your listening skills to make a good impression on the client.

Counselors are not only required to listen to their clients but also give feedback. The best way to show that you are listening is by paraphrasing what the client has said, and then reflecting back on it in a questioning manner so that you can gain a better understanding of their needs.
