Love Across Stars an english story for kids and adults

The night sky is dotted with stars. In the quiet suburbs, a bright light streaks across the sky and lands softly in a nearby park. The object is an alien spacecraft, sleek and shimmering.
Inside the spacecraft, an ALIEN named ZARON (a humanoid with iridescent skin and large, expressive eyes) is working at a control panel. A soft, melodic hum fills the air. Zaron peers through a window at Earth below.
ZARON (to himself) Finally, the third planet. They call it Earth.
He adjusts the controls, and the spacecraft begins to glow. A swirling vortex of energy forms, and Zaron steps into it, vanishing.
Zaron materializes in the park, slightly disoriented. He takes in his surroundings, marveling at the green trees and the distant city lights. He spots a GIRL (LUCY, late teens, with a warm smile and a curious nature) sitting on a bench, reading a book.
LUCY (looking up, startled) Who... who are you?
ZARON (nervously) I am Zaron. I come from a far place.
LUCY (laughs softly) A far place, huh? Well, welcome to Earth.
Zaron is taken aback by her friendliness.
ZARON I did not expect such... warmth.
LUCY (smiling) Most people are pretty friendly here. Want to tell me about where you’re from?
ZARON I am from a planet called Xylaria. It is very different from this place.
Lucy closes her book, intrigued.
LUCY Different how?
ZARON We have no trees or lakes. We have floating cities and bioluminescent flora. But... I am fascinated by Earth’s simplicity.
They sit in silence for a moment, each absorbing the other’s presence.
LUCY Well, I could show you around. You might like our forests and lakes.
ZARON I would like that very much.
Lucy and Zaron walk through a lush forest. Zaron is in awe of the vibrant colors and the rustling leaves.
LUCY The forest is one of my favorite places. It’s peaceful and... full of life.
ZARON Your planet is full of beauty.
LUCY (smiling) You know, you’re not like anyone I’ve ever met.
Zaron looks at her, a deep connection forming.
ZARON And you are unlike anyone I have ever known.
Lucy and Zaron sit by a tranquil lake, watching the sunset. The sky is ablaze with hues of orange and pink.
LUCY So, what’s your home like?
ZARON It’s very advanced, but it lacks... this. The feeling of a sunset, the smell of the earth.
Lucy reaches out and touches Zaron’s hand. Zaron looks at her, his heart racing.
LUCY I never thought I’d fall for someone from another planet. But...
ZARON (interrupting) It is the same for me. I never imagined feeling this... this connection.
The spacecraft is ready to depart. Lucy and Zaron stand together, reluctant to part.
LUCY You have to go?
ZARON I must return to my planet. But... I wish I could stay.
LUCY (teary-eyed) Maybe... one day, our paths will cross again.
ZARON I hope so.
Zaron leans in, and they share a tender kiss.
ZARON I will never forget you, Lucy.
LUCY And I won’t forget you, Zaron.
The spacecraft lifts off, leaving a trail of shimmering light. Lucy watches it disappear into the night sky, clutching a small, glowing crystal Zaron gave her.
Lucy places the crystal on her bedside table, looking out at the stars through her window.
LUCY (to herself) Love really can reach across the stars.
She smiles, holding onto the hope that one day, Zaron might return.
